What we're looking for

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience

Engineering degree

Fluent English (B2+) is essential, with part of the interview in English.
Solid production experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x, including:
REST
JPA/Hibernate
Spring Security
Transactions
Async / virtual threads
Solid experience with Angular 21, or a demonstrated ability to adopt the latest Angular patterns:
Signals
New control flow
Standalone-first architecture
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL:
Schema design
Flyway migrations
Query optimization
Experience with MongoDB:
Document modeling
Aggregations
Spring Data
Comfort working with systems involving intensive use of XML:
XSD schemas
XSLT
Parsers
Metadata-driven logic
Experience with custom DSLs or rule engines will be an important plus.
Familiarity with Redis for caching and session state.
Knowledge of hexagonal architecture / clean architecture and domain-driven design in multi-module Maven projects.
Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD, SonarQube quality gates, and container-based workflows (Docker, Kubernetes/Helm).
Strong testing discipline:

The role

We are looking to add a Full Stack Developer to our staff to join a project in the Insurance sector, with essential experience in both Java + Spring Boot for backend and Angular for frontend, with a MINIMUM B2 English level (interview in English) and availability for some on-site presence in Barcelona, should the project require it.

What you'll do

Build and evolve frontend functionalities in Angular 21, working with:
Signals
Standalone components
New control flow syntax
RxJS
State management
ngx-ndbx/ng-aquila component libraries
Work with and extend the proprietary PEL-PC XML DSL, including:
XSD schemas
ANTLR grammar logic
XSLT/Saxon transformations
XStream serialization
Develop new Spring Boot modules that replace DSL-based logic with standard, maintainable, and testable code.

How you'll work

Some on-site presence in Barcelona; we value candidates who do not reside in Barcelona but can travel occasionally due to project needs.
