Project Engineer - Mechanical Design & Industrial Management

• Education: University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Postgraduate studies or specialization in project management or related areas will be positively valued.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of demonstrable professional experience in similar roles, with a clear focus on project management and mechanical design in industrial environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid knowledge in mechanical design (CAD), finite element analysis (FEA), heat transfer, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials.
• Project Management: Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile).
• Software: Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, Solid Edge) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, motivate personnel, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving capacity, with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.

• Comprehensive Project Management: Lead and supervise projects from conception to completion, ensuring the fulfillment of objectives in terms of scope, time, cost, and quality. Define project plans, assign resources, manage risks, and ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
• Mechanical Design: Actively participate in the conceptual and detailed design of mechanical systems and components. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools (CAE) to develop innovative and efficient solutions, optimizing performance and reliability.
• Technical Coordination: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (engineers from other specialties, technicians, suppliers, etc.) to ensure the coherence and integration of the implemented designs and solutions.
• Planning and Monitoring: Develop detailed schedules, budgets, and execution plans. Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions to keep the project on track.
• Supplier and Contractor Management: Select, evaluate, and manage suppliers and contractors, ensuring the quality of materials and services, and compliance with established deadlines.
• Industrial Process Optimization: Analyze and propose improvements in our clients' production and operational processes, applying industrial engineering principles to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and review relevant technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and technical reports.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs and solutions comply with applicable technical and safety regulations, both nationally and internationally.
