At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a leading company in the construction sector to search for an Application and Design Assistant in the Guissona area.

What you'll do

Develop product proposals for clients, taking into account the characteristics and conditions of the paper machine and the specific requirements of the client.
Analyze the technical needs of the client and translate them into a viable product solution.
Carry out the corresponding designs based on the orders and agreed specifications.
Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure that the design responds to the previously defined commercial and technical needs.
Participate in the development of new products and in the identification of improvement opportunities.
Perform technical visits to clients together with the Sales team.
Gather information regarding needs, modifications, and possible product improvements.
Participate in remote meetings with clients and/or Sales to provide technical support.
Provide support to the commercial team during meetings with clients.
Conduct product training and provide technical recommendations to both the Sales team and clients.
Monitor the production process when defects are detected in the product.
Analyze incidents to determine if it is possible to continue with production, if it is necessary to perform a rework, or if manufacturing must be repeated.
Monitor and control final product non-conformities.
Define and carry out the necessary actions to resolve non-conformities.
Participate in the management of complaints and claims by investigating product samples.
Work together with the Quality department in the resolution of claims.
Perform control of costs associated with the product.
Identify and record the reasons for cost deviations.
Propose and carry out corrective actions.
Participate in initiatives for the improvement of products and production processes.
