What we're looking for

You are our ideal candidate if...

You have a minimum level of training at the CFGS level in Transport and Logistics; having training at the Degree level in Transport and Logistics Management and/or a Master's in Logistics and Supply Chain will be highly valued.
You bring a minimum experience of 3-4 years in a position of similar characteristics, preferably in a company in the logistics or transport sector, or in a distribution company with a high volume of logistic movement.
You have experience in the leadership and management of work teams, preferably profiles from the logistics and transport area.
You are used to working with ERPs in order to carry out the planning of tasks and resources.
You are a person with high organizational and planning capacity, with a sense of urgency and prioritization, being resolute, with a vocation for service and client orientation, who likes to work in a team and interdepartmentally, and who has good communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, as well as analytical capacity and ease of adaptation to changes.

Nice to have

Providing complementary training in Human Team Management and Leadership will be very positively valued, and providing proficiency in other languages, preferably English or French, will also be very positively valued.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an important Catalan business group dedicated to offering integral services in the logistics sector, which has an international presence and an ambitious growth and expansion plan; for this reason, we are looking for a TRAFFIC MANAGER who has experience in the leadership, management, and coordination of a Traffic department, preferably in a company within the logistics sector.

What you'll do

Reporting directly to the Company Management, and managing all the people who are part of the Traffic Dept., the main mission of the selected person will be to coordinate and supervise transport services, as well as to manage and coordinate the work team, with the aim of optimizing traffic routes and guaranteeing the efficiency of the services. The main tasks of the position will focus on:

Documentary and digital management, including the uploading to the ERP of information relating to delivery notes from the Commercial Dept., compliance with deadlines agreed internally with the other Departments, and the management and request of special permits.
Management of external clients, with the corresponding operational planning and confirmation of requested services, managing and coordinating the human team necessary to carry out the service.
Monitoring of routes to guarantee the efficiency and conditions of the services provided to clients, with the rapid and effective resolution of any incident that may arise.
Management of internal clients, carrying out the control, validation, and justification of the duration of the tasks carried out by the team.
Daily management of the Traffic Dept. team, with the corresponding assignment of tasks and services through the ERP, managing all the necessary operations so that the team can perform the service.
Leadership, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, training, and promotion of the work team that is part of the Traffic Department.
