The role

Are you looking for a new job opportunity? Do you have experience as a mechanical designer? Would you like to progressively take on more responsibility until you lead a technical team?

At Paul Marlex we are collaborating with an established company in the industrial machinery sector, located in the Debabarrena region, in the search for a Mechanical Designer with the potential to become a Technical Director.

What you'll do

Mechanical design of special machinery, with a special focus on retrofitting projects.
Support and monitoring of machine assembly in the workshop, coordinating with the assembly team.
Close collaboration with the purchasing department and the rest of the technical team.
Progressive learning and mentoring in technical project management and client relations, under the guidance of the current technical manager.
In the medium term, taking over the management of the technical department: project coordination, key client relations, and contribution of technical expertise.

What do we need from you?

Training in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in mechanical design, preferably in machine tools (special purpose machinery).
Basque: advanced level, essential.
English: intermediate level.
Knowledge of SolidWorks.
Residence in the area.
Interest in making a long-term commitment and progressively taking on more responsibility.
