About the role
From Marlex we are collaborating with an international toy sector group in the search for a Finance Manager to lead the Finance, Administration and Management Control areas.
We are looking for a senior, autonomous and proactive financial profile, with experience in multinational environments, capable of leading the group's financial function and providing a strategic vision, with a special focus on treasury, working capital and cash flow forecasting.
What you'll do
Ensuring the correct management of the Accounting, Treasury and Credit areas, ensuring the group's financial soundness and providing a clear and predictable view of the cash position.
- Preparing and maintaining the group's consolidated cash flow forecast, integrating different subsidiaries, jurisdictions and currencies.
- Anticipating liquidity needs and modelling different financial scenarios.
- Optimising working capital through the management of inventories, obsolescence, payment terms, collections and intra-group cash movements.
- Evaluating possible external financing alternatives when necessary.
- Coordinating the group's monthly closing and financial consolidation.
- Preparing and supervising financial reporting for Management and the Board of Directors.
- Coordinating and validating forecasts and budgets prepared by the different areas.
- Working with SAP and advanced Excel tools.
- Coordinating statutory audits and the relationship with auditors and tax and legal advisors.
- Supervising the group's taxation, including Corporate Income Tax and VAT in different jurisdictions.
- Supervising transfer pricing operations and intercompany relationships.
- Leading and coordinating the Finance team, including Treasury, Credit & Customer and Accounting.
- Supervising the Accounting function, ensuring reliable monthly closings and compliance with accounting and tax obligations.
- Driving the improvement of processes, internal controls and reporting tools.
What we're looking for
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar.
- Between 8 and 12 years of experience in financial positions.
- Experience in international audit firms and subsequent in-house experience in multinational groups will be particularly valued.
- Demonstrable experience in treasury and working capital management in multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
- Experience in seasonal companies with high stock intensity will be highly valued, especially in sectors such as consumer goods, distribution, retail or food & beverage.
- Solid knowledge of consolidation, international taxation, audit and reporting.
- Experience with SAP and advanced Excel.
- Fluent English is essential. Other languages will be valued.
- An autonomous, proactive and hands-on profile, with the ability to make decisions and work independently.
- Leadership and organisational skills to coordinate teams and external collaborators.

What we're looking for

- Se valorará especialmente experiencia previa en auditoría en firma internacional y posterior experiencia in-house en grupos multinacionales.
- Experiencia demostrable en tesorería y gestión del circulante en entornos multi-entidad y multi-divisa.
- Muy valorable experiencia en empresas estacionales e intensivas en stock, especialmente en sectores como consumer goods, distribución, retail o alimentación.
- Conocimientos sólidos de consolidación, fiscalidad internacional, auditoría y reporting.
- Experiencia con SAP y Excel avanzado.
- Inglés alto imprescindible. Otros idiomas serán valorables.
- Perfil autónomo, resolutivo y hands-on, con capacidad para tomar decisiones y trabajar con autonomía.
