About the role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a consolidated and leading company in the construction and public works sector, currently in full growth, to recruit a Civil Works Study Manager for Madrid.

Lead the preparation of studies and technical and economic bids for civil works projects, ensuring their feasibility, competitiveness, and compliance with the requirements set out in each tender.

What you'll do

  • Analyze the tender specifications and technical documentation of the bids.
  • Prepare technical bids and economic studies for public and private projects.
  • Prepare budgets, measurements, work scheduling, and supplementary documentation.
  • Identify risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement in each project.
  • Propose technical solutions and construction procedures that enhance the competitiveness of the bids.
  • Request, analyze, and compare proposals from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate the preparation of bids with the Engineering, Production, and Finance departments.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor submitted bids and participate in their subsequent review.

What do we expect from you?

  • University degree in Civil Engineering, Technical Public Works Engineering, Roads, Canals and Ports Engineering, or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience working with tenders from major public administrations and entities, such as DGC, ADIF, ACUAES, or SEIASA.
  • Advanced knowledge of public procurement regulations.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, planning, and design software such as Presto, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or Revit.
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong commercial and economic perspective on projects.
  • Planning, coordination, and teamwork skills across different departments.
  • Availability to work in Madrid.
