What we're looking for

You are our ideal candidate if...

A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a similar position within the food industry (pre-cooked products, preserves, fourth-range products, or similar), as well as solid knowledge and experience in HACCP.
Experience in team management and production planning, as well as having worked under food safety regulations.
You are used to working with ERP.
Flexibility in working hours to supervise and support the different production shifts as needed.
A desire to take on a new challenge and be part of a values-driven company that cares for its team and is committed to its growth.
A person with a high level of commitment and involvement, responsible, autonomous, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, but also with a close, collaborative, and inclusive leadership style.

Nice to have

It will be valued to have training at the level of a Higher Degree in Food Industries or a university degree focused on the food industry and/or production management.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a family business in the food sector, with a long history and a clear commitment to quality, sustainability, and local products, which specializes in the production of organic food products, combining traditional processes and recipes with current quality and food safety standards. Currently, and due to its growth and economic investment plan, they require the incorporation of a PRODUCTION MANAGER who brings experience in the food sector (pre-cooked foods, preserves, V Gamma products,...).

What you'll do

Reporting directly to the Company Management, and working in a coordinated manner with the rest of the departments, the main tasks of the selected person will focus on:

Coordinating and optimizing production resources, both technical and human and material, to ensure efficient manufacturing while meeting the highest quality and food safety standards.
Planning, organizing, and supervising the plant's daily production, leading and managing the production team, distributed across three shifts (morning / afternoon / night), ensuring proper shift assignment, workload distribution, and performance.
Controlling, together with the Quality and Food Safety Manager, compliance with quality, hygiene, and food safety standards, as well as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
Working in a coordinated manner with the Administration, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Logistics departments to ensure success in the production process.
Ensuring compliance with order delivery deadlines and defined stock levels.
Reporting periodically to Management and preparing the necessary reports directly related to the Production area.
