The role

At Marlex, we are collaborating with a major company in the food sector specializing in the processing of seafood products, which needs to hire a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for its production plant.

As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct functioning of the machinery and facilities in the primary cutting and salmon preparation room, ensuring the continuity of the production process through the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

What you'll do

Perform mechanical maintenance on production machinery.
Execute assembly and disassembly operations of equipment for maintenance, repair, or technical cleaning tasks.
Carry out mechanical adjustments and settings to optimize machine performance.
Diagnose mechanical faults and intervene to resolve them effectively.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of the section's equipment.
Intervene in specific machinery such as salting machines and injectors.
Inspect transmission elements, mechanical components, and parts subject to wear.
Collaborate closely with production to minimize downtime and improve equipment availability.
Comply with established safety, quality, and food hygiene procedures.
Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area and with the tools used.
