Position Mission

The Pastry Chef will be responsible for the preparation, production, and presentation of high-quality pastry and dessert items, ensuring an exceptional dining experience that meets the hotel's luxury standards. They will actively collaborate with the kitchen team, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with food safety and sustainability protocols.

What will you have to do?

  • Prepare and present desserts, breads, pastries, and bakery products following recipes and established standards, paying close attention to quality, flavor, and presentation.

  • Participate in the creation and renewal of dessert menus, incorporating new trends and creative proposals aligned with the destination's identity.

  • Manage the daily mise en place for the pastry section, ensuring the proper preparation of ingredients and materials.

  • Supervise the proper handling, preservation, and storage of raw materials and prepared items.

  • Ensure compliance with the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.

  • Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team and other departments to ensure smooth, excellent service.

  • Control the inventory of the pastry section and contribute to reducing food waste, following the hotel's sustainability policies.

What are we looking for?

  • Training in Pastry, Bakery, Gastronomy, or related fields.

  • At least 2 years of experience as a pastry chef in high-end hotels, luxury restaurants, or similar environments.

  • Mastery of classic and modern pastry techniques; experience in international pastry is valued.

  • A creative, detail-oriented, and organized individual, capable of working under pressure and as part of a team.

  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Knowledge of English is valued for interacting with guests and international teams.
