What we're looking for

Demonstrable experience in product discovery: problem framing, hypotheses, experimentation, and learning.
Ability to prototype and design flows oriented toward validating and building.
Practical mastery of user stories, PRDs, JTBDs, and working with engineering.
Analytical capabilities.
Good written and oral communication (ability to align stakeholders and manage expectations).
Fluency working with design systems and guidelines.

The role

At Mercadona Tech, Mercadona's spin-off dedicated to transforming the online shopping experience for supermarket products, we are looking for a Product Maker to join our Tech Hub in Valencia.

This is a hybrid role that merges Product Manager and Product Designer. It is responsible for carrying out end-to-end initiatives, from discovery and metric definition to prototyping and close collaboration with engineering for delivery. This role has the support of a Centralized Design Department that maintains the design system.

The mission of this role is to integrate product and design vision within the team, accelerating decisions and deliveries.

What you'll do

Lead discovery (problem - hypothesis - validation) and convert it into testable solutions.
Develop JTBD (Jobs To Be Done), PRDs, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Prototype functional flows aligned with the design system.
Define and track success metrics.
Collaborate with Engineering, Data, and other stakeholders (processes, business...) to prioritize the backlog, measure impact, and adjust iteratively.
Be the voice of the user within the team: translate insights into actionable decisions and communicate progress, decisions, and trade-offs transparently.
