Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Engineering, Vocational Training in Computer Systems and Network Administration (ASIR), or similar.
Experience in Windows and Linux operating system administration.
Experience with VMware vSphere and vCenter for the management of virtual machines, clusters, and resources.
Knowledge of Active Directory and its integration with virtualization environments.
Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, routing, and basic security.
Knowledge of NAS/SAN storage and of backup and recovery.
Knowledge of security applied to systems: authentication and access control.
Availability to work on-site in Torrejón de Ardoz and to travel.

Nice to have

Experience in hyperconvergence environments.
Administration of antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
Knowledge of authentication via Kerberos.
Knowledge of databases and data management.
Experience in the preparation of technical documentation and incident resolution.
Minimum English level B2, fluent communication in English

The role

At Métrica, we are looking for a Systems, Networks and Virtualization Administrator with experience in infrastructure administration and VMware environments to join a project in the Defense sector.

What you'll do

Implementation and administration of virtualization platforms based on VMware vSphere.
Management of virtual machines, clusters, resources, and high availability.
Administration of vCenter and integration with Active Directory.
Administration of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Administration of NAS and SAN storage systems.
Participation in the design of hyperconvergence environments.
Design and execution of backup and recovery policies.

How you'll work

Location: Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid.
SBA: 35-37K, depending on fit and experience
Modality: 100% on-site.
Project in the Defense sector.
Equipment provided by the client for security reasons.
The position requires availability to obtain Personal Security Clearance (HPS).
