Systems Administrator with Data Center Experience

• 4-5 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator
• Experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and networks in Datacenters.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience in networking
• Knowledge of Datacenter facilities
• B1-B2 English level, with written communication skills
• Customer service and technical support capability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, methodical, and meticulous attitude

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Proxmox.
• Experience with NetApp storage arrays.
• Project management.

We are a Private Cloud and Infrastructure as a Service provider, offering solutions aimed at large consumers of computing, network, and storage resources. We currently have bases in Madrid, Elda (Alicante), and Amsterdam.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the physical equipment installed in the Madrid Datacenters where Stackscale has a presence. The position consists of:

• Implementing and maintaining dedicated server infrastructure, storage arrays, and networks; within the Madrid data centers
• Managing and responding to equipment incidents both remotely and on-site
• Performing basic operating system and software configurations
• Maintaining and updating equipment according to security best practices
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure a smooth operating environment.
