What we're looking for

Experience: Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Java development.
Languages: High level of English (essential), both spoken and written, for fluid communication with international teams and technical documentation.
Cloud Technology: Demonstrable experience in AWS cloud operations, including deep knowledge of services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, among others. Specific experience in the use of CloudWatch for monitoring and alarms.
Orchestration: Basic knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS for container management and deployment.
Architecture: Solid knowledge and practical experience in the design and implementation of architectures based on microservices and distributed systems.
APIs: Demonstrable experience in troubleshooting related to APIs (RESTful, etc.) and in API Gateway monitoring.
Messaging and Events: Proven experience with Kafka (preferably MSK or Confluent) and a deep understanding of event-driven architectures. Experience with RabbitMQ or similar message queuing technologies is highly valued.
Databases: Experience in monitoring and optimizing databases such as Aurora/RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, and other AWS-supported databases.
Storage: Knowledge of AWS storage services such as S3, EBS, EFS, as well as experience with file transfer services.
Monitoring and Observability: Experience in monitoring batch processes. Operational knowledge of tools such as Control-M or Airflow. Experience in implementing observability practices (logs, metrics, traces) for application monitoring and debugging.

Debit and credit card processing. Embossing and card issuance operational flows. Tokenization and token lifecycle. Incoming disputes and errors. Operational flows related to clearing and settlement. Channels, integration layer, and APIs. Card schemes and networks, including Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, and local schemes or processors where applicable. OAS / dual-run authorization services. Events, batch processes, and operational dependencies. Expected Technical Knowledge: AWS cloud and CloudWatch operations. Basic Kubernetes/EKS operations. Microservices and distributed systems. API troubleshooting and API Gateway monitoring. Kafka/MSK/Confluent and event-driven architectures. RabbitMQ or equivalent queuing technologies. Aurora/RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, and related database monitoring. S3, EBS, EFS, and file transfer services. Batch process monitoring and operational knowledge of Control-M/Airflow. Observability: logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alert correlation. GitOps and knowledge of deployments, including ArgoCD and GitHub Cloud, without being responsible for deployments.
