Senior Business, Banking and Risk Auditor

We are looking to recruit several Internal Audit professionals with experience in the financial sector to participate in audit projects regarding processes, risks, banking business, and technological environments within a major financial entity.

• Stable project as a Senior Banking Business and Risk Auditor.
• You will be part of a tech talent ecosystem.

• Plan and execute internal audits autonomously.
• Perform audit testing, obtain evidence, identify findings, and prepare reports.
• Analyze banking business processes and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented controls.
• Review banking products such as deposits, remuneration, interest, commissions, and APR.
• Analyze credit processes, risk information, and data traceability.
• Evaluate operational, regulatory, and technological risks associated with the audited processes.
• Review control frameworks related to business continuity, third-party management, outsourcing, and data protection.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and internal stakeholders to ensure the correct development of audit work.
• Analyze data using office tools and support reviews based on quantitative information.

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Previous experience in Internal or External Audit.
• Knowledge of the banking and financial sector.
• Experience executing audit testing, preparing evidence, findings, and reports.
• Ability to understand business processes, risks, and controls.
• Advanced level of Excel.

Highly valued

• Experience in Big Four or similar consulting/audit firms.
• Knowledge of regulations and control frameworks such as:
  • DORA
  • ISO 27001
  • ENS
  • Data Protection
  • Business Continuity
  • Vendor Management and Third-Party Risk
• Experience in auditing credit and risk processes.
• Knowledge of banking products (deposits, interest, commissions, APR).
• Experience in IRB environments and data traceability.
• Knowledge of SharePoint.
• Handling of macros, simple queries, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of GRC and audit tools such as Diligent or ACL.
