The role

We are looking for a Senior Staff Communications Systems Engineer to design and validate PHY architectures and advanced DSP algorithms in communications SoCs.

Real impact on next-generation communications SoCs.
Expert team developing leading solutions from the Valencia hub.

What you'll do

Research, design, verification, and testing of DSP algorithms (modulation, demodulation, filters, equalization, coding, echo cancellation, etc.)
Development of algorithms to correct imperfections and improve the performance of the analog front-end.
Close collaboration with RFIC, RF systems, ASIC, and firmware teams to optimize end-to-end performance.
Definition and validation of hardware/software partitioning for DSP and control blocks.
Mentoring junior engineers throughout the full PHY development cycle.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (PhD valued).
Strong mathematical foundation and deep knowledge of communication theory.
Experience in PHY modem architectures and DSP design for communication systems.
Proficiency in MATLAB and C/C++ (SystemC and Python are a plus).
Ability to work in multicultural environments and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
