Senior Voice Communications Systems Engineer (VoIP) - Civil and Military ATC

At Indra we are looking for a Senior Product Engineer specialized in Voice Communications Systems VoIP (VCS) for civil and military ATC environments, with experience in technical definition and requirements specification for mission-critical solutions.

• Define and specify technical requirements for Voice Communications Systems (VCS) for ATC environments.
• Take part in the development and evolution of VoIP solutions for civil and military air traffic control.
• Produce functional and technical documentation associated with the product.
• Analyze architectures and functionalities of IP VCS and conventional VCS systems.
• Ensure compliance with aeronautical sector regulations and standards.
• Coordinate technical activities with different engineering areas and project stakeholders.
• Take part in technical reviews and functional definition of critical communications solutions.

• Knowledge or experience with IBM Rational DOORS.
• Experience in civil and military ATC projects.
• Knowledge of critical communications architectures and mission-critical systems.
• Ability to engage in technical dialogue with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

🕓 What does our selection process look like? I

1. Review of your profile 🔍 - We evaluate your experience and skills to determine whether you fit what we are looking for.
2. First contact (5-10 min) 📞 - If you receive a call from an unknown number, it's our team! It will be a quick conversation to get to know you and answer any questions.
3. Technical interview 🤝 - You will meet with the team, who will explain the project and daily tasks. We will also explore your technical knowledge. In addition, we will give you brief psychological and English competency tests (if necessary).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in development, engineering, or specification of Voice Communications Systems (VCS) for ATC.
• Experience with VoIP systems applied to air traffic control environments.
• Advanced knowledge of:
  • VCS IP
  • Conventional VCS
• Experience in technical requirements specification and management.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards:
  • ICAO
  • EuroCAE
  • Eurocontrol
• High level of Spanish and English.

En Indra buscamos un/a Ingeniero/a Senior de Producto especializado/a en Sistemas de Comunicaciones de Voz VoIP (SCV) para entornos ATC civiles y militares, con experiencia en definición técnica y especificación de requisitos para soluciones de misión crítica.

• Definir y especificar requisitos técnicos de Sistemas de Comunicaciones de Voz (SCV) para entornos ATC.
• Participar en el desarrollo y evolución de soluciones VoIP para control de tráfico aéreo civil y militar.
• Elaborar documentación funcional y técnica asociada al producto.
• Analizar arquitecturas y funcionalidades de sistemas VCS IP y VCS convencionales.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de normativas y estándares del sector aeronáutico.
• Coordinar actividades técnicas con distintas áreas de ingeniería y stakeholders del proyecto.
• Participar en revisiones técnicas y definición funcional de soluciones de comunicaciones críticas.

• Conocimiento o experiencia con IBM Rational DOORS.
• Experiencia en proyectos ATC civiles y militares.
• Conocimiento de arquitecturas de comunicaciones críticas y sistemas de misión crítica.
• Capacidad de interlocución técnica con cliente y equipos multidisciplinares.
