The role

A major international logistics operator is looking to hire a Site Manager to lead the opening of new logistics centers, currently in a confidential phase. The selected candidate will be responsible for the start-up and subsequent overall management of large-scale logistics centers, acting as the highest-ranking person on site and ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

Lead the full opening of new logistics centers (implementation phase, ramp-up, and stabilization).
Overall management of the center once operational: operations, teams, clients, and P&L.
Management and development of large-scale structures (minimum 300 people during low season).
Ensure compliance with productivity, quality, safety, cost, and service level objectives (KPIs and SLAs).
Coordination with corporate teams: engineering, HR, finance, H&S, and quality.
Direct relationship with the end client, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and business continuity.
Implementation and monitoring of operational processes, continuous improvement, and standardization.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations, occupational risk prevention (PRL), and internal policies.
Management of the center's budget and control of variances.

Profile requirements

Proven experience as Site Manager / Operations Manager / General Manager in logistics.
Essential to have managed large-scale logistics centers:
Approximate surface area: 50,000 - 60,000 m²
Staff numbers: ≥300 people during low season
Experience in dynamic environments, with high operational volume and a client-focused approach.
Leadership skills, decision-making ability, and change management.
No sector preference (retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, pharma, etc.).
High level of autonomy, strategic vision, and strong results orientation.
Previous experience in center openings or ramp-up phases is a plus.
Residence in the indicated area or willingness to relocate there.
