SOC Technician

A technology services company is looking to hire a technical profile to join its SOC.

Reporting to the SOC Manager, the selected person will join the Security team to participate in the monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents.

• Continuous monitoring of security events and incidents using SIEM tools.
• Analysis, classification, and investigation of cybersecurity alerts.
• Security incident management and response.
• Identification of threats, vulnerabilities, and indicators of compromise (IoC).
• Preparation of procedures, technical reports, and incident documentation.
• Participation in threat hunting activities and continuous improvement of detection capabilities.
• Collaboration with Systems, Infrastructure, Networks, and Development teams for risk remediation.
• Monitoring and escalation of critical incidents according to established procedures.
• Participation in projects to improve the corporate security posture.
• Analysis of trends, emerging threats, and mitigation recommendations.

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a SOC, CSIRT, or Cybersecurity team.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, Elastic, or similar).
• Experience in log analysis, event correlation, and incident investigation.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
• Knowledge of networks, TCP/IP protocols, DNS, VPN, Firewall, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, or CIS Controls.
• We value certifications such as Security+, SC-200, AZ-500, CySA+, CEH, or equivalents.
• Technical level of English.
• Analytical profile, oriented toward problem-solving and with the ability to work in a team.
