Quality and Food Safety Technician - Osona

Quality and Food Safety Technician for an international industrial food group with a strong focus on quality and audits, located in Osona.

The selected candidate will join the Quality and Food Safety Department, reporting directly to the Quality and Food Safety Manager and working in coordination with production, maintenance, and plant teams.

Main responsibilities:

• Carry out documentary controls related to health, audits, and BRC and IFS certifications.
• Implement and monitor HACCP procedures and reference regulations.
• Supervise and ensure compliance with good practices in the plant.
• Coordinate and provide support in relations with Official Veterinary Services (OVS).
• Identify risks and participate in the development of action and continuous improvement plans.
• Manage and supervise the quality assistants team in the proper completion of records.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with national and international regulations on food quality and safety.

• Fixed salary between €30,000 and €35,000 gross per year.

• Degree in Food Science and Technology, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar positions within the food industry.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, HACCP, BRC, and IFS.
• Driver's license and own vehicle.
• Residence in the Osona area is required.
• Organized, rigorous person, with teamwork skills and attention to detail.

Técnico/a de Calidad y Seguridad Alimentaria para grupo industrial alimentario internacional con fuerte foco en calidad y auditorías ubicado en Osona.

La persona seleccionada se incorporará al Departamento de Calidad y Seguridad Alimentaria, reportando directamente al Responsable de Calidad y Seguridad Alimentaria y trabajando en coordinación con producción, mantenimiento y equipos de planta.

Funciones principales:

• Realizar controles documentales relacionados con sanidad, auditorías y certificaciones BRC e IFS.
• Implantar y realizar seguimiento de procedimientos APPCC y normativa de referencia.
• Supervisar y asegurar el cumplimiento de buenas prácticas en planta.
• Coordinarse y dar soporte en la relación con los Servicios Veterinarios Oficiales (SVO).
• Identificar riesgos y participar en el desarrollo de planes de acción y mejora interna.
• Gestionar y supervisar al equipo de auxiliares de calidad en la correcta cumplimentación de registros.
• Participar en auditorías internas y externas.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento de normativas nacionales e internacionales en materia de calidad y seguridad alimentaria.

• Grado en Ciencia y Tecnología de los Alimentos, Veterinaria, Biología o similar.
• Experiencia mínima de 2 años en posiciones similares dentro de industria alimentaria.
• Conocimientos sólidos en seguridad alimentaria, APPCC, BRC e IFS.
• Carnet de conducir y vehículo propio.
• Imprescindible residencia zona Osona.
• Persona organizada, rigurosa, con capacidad de trabajo en equipo y atención al detalle.
