The role

Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO&I, the Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) organization is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business. The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world's largest online services.

It works directly with project delivery teams, engineering, cost, planning and suppliers to translate project demand into executable sourcing and procurement strategies, establish supplier capacity and readiness, manage commercial and supply-chain risks, and ensure procurement does not become a constraint to data center delivery

  • Lead RFIs/RFPs, supplier selection, commercial evaluation and negotiations.
  • Build a competitive, resilient supplier ecosystem with sufficient capacity across EMEA.
  • Improve commercial outcomes through benchmarking, aggregation, standardization and supplier allocation.
  • Manage lead times, material readiness and supply-chain risks to protect project milestones.
  • Ensure contracts, POs, change orders and sourcing activities meet procurement controls and compliance requirements.
  • Partner across key functions to resolve issues and support project delivery.
  • Improve procurement through standardized processes, automation, AI-enabled analytics, dashboards and reporting.
