Financial Controller

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, including experience in team management.
• Solid accounting and tax knowledge.
• Experience coordinating closings, audits, and relationships with external advisors.
• Advanced mastery of Excel and experience with ERPs.
• Previous experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods is valued.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to work with autonomy and adapt to an agile and changing environment.

• Experience with SAGE200 or other multi-entity ERPs.
• Experience in group environments with several companies.

We are looking for a rigorous, decisive person with leadership capacity for the position of Financial Controller, to join our Finance team reporting directly to the CFO. You will lead a team of 6 people (general accounting, internal control, AR, AP, and taxation) and you will be responsible for ensuring that the group's closing, reporting, and regulatory compliance function with solidity. • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing, ensuring the quality and punctuality of the financial information.
• Supervise and provide support to the General Accounting, Accounts Receivable (Retail and B2B), Accounts Payable, Taxation, and Invoicing teams.
• Guarantee the correct accounting and tax treatment of all operations.
• Management and governance of notifications, requirements, or other relations with public administrations.
• Supervision of the SII and resolution of incidents.
• Prepare and coordinate the annual accounts and the relationship with external auditors.
• Design, implement, and monitor the internal controls of the accounting area.
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax and accounting obligations.

Location: Barcelona (Hybrid)

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours)
