The role

What you'll do

  • Perform tasks specific to an electromechanical systems electronics technician, execution of tests and maintenance and commissioning work of said systems, delivery to the client, and operation of these systems onboard.
  • Support the installation and connection of electrical and electronic systems, including power and signal wiring, electrical panels, distribution cabinets, sensors, and control equipment.
  • Support the commissioning and testing, maintenance, operation, and delivery to the client of Platform Control Systems equipment on civilian or military vessels.
  • Participate in the execution of technical, functional, and safety tests of equipment and systems during the construction, repair, and delivery phases of vessels.
  • Perform electrical verification tasks, checking insulation, continuity, polarity, and system operation.
  • Support the diagnosis and resolution of incidents detected during testing and maintenance work.
  • Collaborate in the preparation and assembly of electrical connectors, fiber optics, and other interconnection elements.
  • Perform basic maintenance and operation tasks for auxiliary equipment, temporary electrical installations, and services associated with docks and piers.
  • Participate in adjustment, disassembly, and assembly activities of electrical and electromechanical equipment under repair.
  • Support the operation and programming of automated equipment and robotic production stations, performing basic control, calibration, and self-maintenance tasks.
  • Interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation related to their specialty.
  • Use manual and electrical tools and measuring equipment necessary for the performance of their activity.
  • Comply with and ensure compliance with occupational risk prevention, quality, and environmental regulations applicable to the work performed.
