Civil Construction Supervisor

At RDT, we want to join a CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR to the team for one of the EPC projects to be executed in Cartagena (Murcia) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction projects, especially in industrial, energy, and/or oil & gas environments.

The Civil Supervisor will supervise, coordinate, and control the execution of civil works in the field, guaranteeing compliance with the plans, technical specifications, quality, safety, and environmental standards, as well as the schedule and budget established for the project.

• Supervise civil construction activities executed by contractors and subcontractors.

• Verify compliance with plans, technical specifications, construction procedures, and applicable standards.

• Coordinate daily earthmoving works, foundations, concrete structures, metal structures, paving, drainage, and other civil works.

• Control the physical progress of the works and report deviations from the schedule.

• Review and approve work permits related to civil activities.

• Guarantee compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

• Coordinate with the mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines to ensure the correct construction sequence.

• Participate in follow-up meetings with site management, the client, and contractors.

• Verify the quality of materials and the correct execution of tests and inspections.

• Manage the resolution of technical incidents that arise during construction.

• Review and validate measurements, progress estimates, and work certifications.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Identify construction risks and propose corrective and preventive actions.

• Participate in the reception, testing, and final handover of civil installations.
