What we're looking for
This person will be responsible for the ideation and execution of all retail elevation projects that take place in Spain and Portugal through our territory partners. The team partners across marketplaces to develop initiatives, pilot new concepts, and scale best practices that elevate consumer engagement.
The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a background in account-facing, retail, or marketing roles and a proven track record of delivering results in the following areas:
- Proven experience leading end-to-end retail elevation projects through brands, retailers, or agencies.
- Experience leading multiple projects with collaborators and partners, supporting large teams or managing mid-sized to major programs.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to work independently with complex and evolving information, develop recommendations, and gain alignment on solutions and services.
- Problem Solving: Skilled at turning ambiguity into clarity, navigating new challenges, and embracing continuous learning.
- Results-oriented, with the ability to track retail projects through KPIs and execute based on the results.
- Communication and Relationship Building: Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and foster collaboration.
- Retail and Consumer Insight: Advanced understanding of the retail landscapes in Spain, Portugal, other European countries, the Americas, and Asia, as well as the athletic industry and evolving consumer trends.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience using Airtable and Excel, with strong visual storytelling and presentation skills in PowerPoint and Keynote.

- Commercial, sales, and/or wholesale experience is a plus.

The role
Based in Barcelona, Spain, and sitting within the Spain and Portugal Sales team, this highly cross-functional role partners with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders to position Nike for success across both markets. The role reports to the Senior Director of Sales for Spain and Portugal and works closely with the two Directors supporting these markets. It also collaborates closely with the Visual Merchandising teams and the Retail Marketing Director for Spain, while staying aligned with standards and guidance from our Global Office and EMEA headquarters.
The role drives the evolution and effectiveness of partner strategy and helps build aligned roadmaps for benchmarking retail elevation and the consumer experience across the territories.
Through strong collaboration, this role helps create alignment, accelerate execution, and unlock meaningful business and consumer impact.
What you'll do
In this role, you will help shape Nike's partner experience strategy across Spain and Portugal. You will translate global priorities into locally relevant solutions that deliver commercial impact while elevating consumer engagement with our partners.
- Ideating and executing shop-in-shop concepts with partners.
- Building new footwear wall concepts.
- Helping create new partner store concepts.
- Accelerate partner plans: Drive execution with wholesale partners to bring distinctive, sport-led concepts to life across Spain and Portugal.
- Build consumer-centric capabilities: Develop journeys within multi-brand environments that create elevated experiences in key locations.
- Deliver operational excellence: Ensure projects are strategically aligned, executed effectively, delivered on time, and managed within budget.
- Manage a project portfolio: Use tools such as Airtable to manage multiple initiatives, track progress, and maintain clear stakeholder communication.
- Strengthen cross-functional partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships across teams and partner organizations to drive alignment, collaboration, and execution.
