About the role

Are you looking for an environment where your technical expertise makes a difference and where every project is a new professional challenge?
At OCA Global we want to bring on board a Building Installations Manager to strengthen our Building Inspection and Technical Control team, focused on the supervision and verification of electrical, thermal, sanitary and HVAC installations, with a small team under your responsibility.

We are looking for someone with technical judgement, analytical skills and a global vision, who enjoys ensuring the quality and efficiency of installations in construction and renovation projects.

Your mission will be to ensure technical compliance, safety and energy efficiency of installations in the building projects we support.
You will collaborate with architects, engineering firms and developers to ensure that every installation complies with the Technical Building Code (CTE), applicable regulations and industry best practices.

You will be a key figure within the OCA Global technical team, contributing your experience and judgement in the verification, control and validation of installations, with autonomy and continuous support to the multidisciplinary team.

What you'll do

  • Supervise and verify electrical, thermal, sanitary, HVAC and fire protection installations, ensuring compliance with approved projects and current regulations.

  • Review technical documentation: reports, drawings, certificates, test protocols and applicable regulations.

  • Carry out on-site inspections, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions that ensure technical excellence.

  • Prepare accurate, clear and well-founded technical reports, providing conclusions and recommendations.

  • Advise and support clients, designers and internal teams on technical matters related to installations.

  • Promote continuous improvement of technical control and quality processes within the installations area.

  • Coordinate and lead technical teams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical control or management of building installations (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).

  • Solid knowledge of the Technical Building Code (CTE) and applicable regulations (REBT, RITE, RIPCI).

  • Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve technical issues with professional judgement.

  • Ability to communicate and advise clearly with both technical teams and clients.

  • Collaborative attitude, commitment to quality and passion for doing things well.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in technical control (OCT) companies or installations consulting will be valued.

  • Experience in team management.

What you'll get

Because you will be part of a purpose-driven project: ensuring that nothing is left to chance in the quality, safety and efficiency of the installations that make life in buildings possible.

Additionally:

  • You will join a leading technical team, where your judgement will be heard and valued.

  • You will participate in landmark projects: hospitals, shopping centers, offices, hotels and unique buildings.

  • You will enjoy autonomy and trust to apply your experience and continue growing.

  • You will have access to technical and professional development training at our OCA Campus.

  • You will have flexible benefits: health insurance, transport card, restaurant card, childcare voucher and training.

  • Stable and family-friendly schedule:

    • Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

    • Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    • Intensive working day in July and August, and on the eve of public holidays.

    • Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve off.
