The role

At OCN we are experts in high-value construction projects and we are looking for a Production Technician who will provide full support in the execution of one or more construction projects, as well as in the technical and financial management of them. The work area will be Valencia.

What you'll do

Monitoring compliance with quality, schedule, and financial objectives.
Production control and execution of works.
Assertive communication with transparency and efficiency.
Emotional intelligence.
Representing the company before the client and the technical management team.
Ability to handle hiring and approve purchases, reporting directly to the site manager.
Overseeing the project scope and proposing modifications.
Financial closings (certifications and monthly results closings).
Delivery note control and invoice management.
Reviewing, studying, and analyzing awarded projects. Reviewing contracts and budgets.
Site setup and initial layout/staking out of the works.
Preparing the project's technical-financial schedule and monitoring its compliance and optimization.
Overseeing the preparation and technical execution of the works, ensuring compliance with safety measures and quality requirements.
Signing off on material orders, budgets, and subcontractor contracts after review by the site manager.
Deciding on the necessary auxiliary means for the proper execution of the works together with the site manager.
Supporting the work of collaborators (site managers, foremen, crew leaders…)
Measuring piecework, managing on-site personnel, and assigning tasks.
Maintaining relationships with the business units involved in the execution of the works.
Preparing the monthly work certifications together with the site manager.

Tasks to perform

Commitment and dedication are essential, along with the ability to adapt to change, familiarity with working procedures, and a focus on goals/quality/profitability.

Requirements

Degree in Technical Architecture. Applications without experience will be considered.
Knowledge of project management software. Training in Lean Construction & Project Management.
