We are looking for a talented and driven Structural Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis, contributing to cutting-edge vehicle development programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis and optimisation of vehicle structures, working on projects spanning the Automotive, Motorsport and Aerospace sectors.

What you'll do
Responsibilities / What you will do
Design and develop structural solutions for body-in-white, chassis, suspension systems, and safety-critical components.
Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess and optimise stiffness, strength, durability and crash performance.
Support material selection and structural layout decisions to meet lightweighting and manufacturing goals.
Interface with design, dynamics, testing, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust and efficient structural solutions.
Contribute to prototype builds, support failure investigations and recommend design improvements.
Ensure structural systems comply with regulatory and customer requirements (FIA, EASA, OEM specs).
Produce detailed technical documentation and present findings to project stakeholders.

Experience / Who you are
1st Class Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural or Automotive Engineering.
Proven experience in structural analysis and design within the Automotive, Motorsport or Aerospace sectors.
Skilled in FEA tools (e.g. ANSYS, Abaqus, OptiStruct, LS-DYNA) and CAD platforms (e.g. CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks).
Deep understanding of structural mechanics, materials (metals and composites), fatigue and crash behaviour.
Experience with lightweighting and topology optimisation techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment.
