About the job

YOUR TASKS:

In this role, you will become a technical reference in assessing and solving structural challenges within our wind turbine fleet.

  • Performing structural verifications for concrete and steel structures within tower development projects
  • Collaborating with internal and external experts and suppliers, acting as a technical partner to drive robust engineering solutions.
  • Designing and evaluating new tubular steel, concrete and hybrid towers and anchor cages
  • Preparing high‑quality technical documentation, including reports, calculations, and project deliverables aligned with our internal project management standards.
  • Leading root cause analyses for field issues, identifying both causes and fast, cost‑effective solutions, and supporting their implementation on site.
  • Engagement in reducing the "cost of energy" and increasing productivity in tower development
  • Focus on lessons learned and continuous improvement of products and processes with standardization where possible

YOUR PROFILE:

  • A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar*
  • Solid knowledge of international standards such as IEC 61400‑6, Eurocodes, Model Codes, and DIBt guidelines
  • Experience with finite element analysis (Ansys, Abaqus)
  • Understanding of bolted flange connections, pretensioning systems, and fatigue analysis
  • Advanced programming skills-Python is a strong asset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Fluency in English; German and/or Spanish are a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar engineering roles
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • For foreign qualifications, recognition as the corresponding Spanish qualification is required
