Senior Structural Engineer - Concrete

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, or similar) or Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the design and calculation of reinforced concrete structures, preferably in multi-family residential buildings.
• Extensive experience in the calculation of foundations and containment structures, and the interpretation of geotechnical studies.
• Demonstrable experience in the drafting of building structure projects.
• Proficiency in CYPECAD and CYPE 3D.
• Solid knowledge of the applicable Spanish regulations (Código Estructural, CTE, NCSE-02).

• Experience in precast concrete structures.
• Knowledge of Dlubal RFEM.
• Knowledge or experience in timber structures (CLT, glulam).
• Experience in site management or technical assistance on-site for concrete structures.
• Knowledge of BIM methodology and modeling in Revit.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to propose creative and efficient solutions from an integral vision of the project.

At 011h, we are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer specializing in concrete structures to join our team.

• Perform the design and calculation of reinforced concrete structures for multi-family residential buildings with timber structures (CLT and glulam): below-ground levels and ground floors, from the preliminary design to the executive project.
• Design and calculate shallow and deep foundations and containment structures (basement walls, retaining walls, diaphragm walls), interpreting geotechnical studies.
• Resolve the transition between the concrete structure and the timber structure (supports, anchors, and load transfer), coordinating with the timber calculation team.
• Study and compare different structural solutions, evaluating their technical and economic viability in collaboration with other teams.
• Generate the technical documentation necessary for the basic, executive, and construction project phases: calculation reports, plans, details, and measurements.
• Ensure the correct integration of the structure with 011h's industrialized construction system, coordinating with the internal design team.
• Supervise and provide technical support to external structural calculation teams, reviewing their deliverables and communicating 011h's criteria and requirements.
• Participate in Design and Build projects with multidisciplinary teams, collaborating closely in BIM environments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the structural system, proposing technical and constructive optimizations.
• Provide occasional support for the technical development of the team's junior profiles.
• Guarantee regulatory compliance (Código Estructural, CTE DB-SE and DB-SE-C, NCSE-02) and sustainability, safety, and quality standards in all projects.
