What we're looking for

We are looking for a person with a solid foundation in Cloud architecture and infrastructure, experience working with Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, and practical knowledge in distributed data platforms.

Practical and essential experience with Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and Apache Kafka.
Solid experience as a Cloud Architect / Solutions Architect / Infrastructure Architect in large-scale projects.
Demonstrable experience with at least one of the main Cloud providers: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
Experience working with distributed data platforms and Big Data architectures.
Knowledge of RHEL and experience with Red Hat Satellite.
Solid knowledge of Kerberos and TLS, especially applied to data platforms.
Experience in high availability, resilience, and scalability architectures.
Experience in Cloud Governance and management of complex Cloud environments.

The role

At Paradigma Digital, we are looking to hire a Cloud Architect to participate in architecture, deployment, and evolution projects of complex technological platforms for large enterprise environments.

What you'll do

Design, evaluate, size, and implement system architectures for development, integration, pre-production, and production environments.
Design complex technical architectures in public, private, and hybrid Cloud environments, ensuring high availability, resilience, and scalability.
Evaluate and select the most suitable infrastructure components and base software for each scenario.
Define migration and modernization strategies for legacy systems, previously assessing their technical and economic impact.
Work with Infrastructure as Code technologies, mainly Terraform.
Design and deploy architectures based on Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
Participate in the deployment and operation of data platforms on OpenShift using operators.
Work with the different components of a data platform: metastore, query engines, processing, orchestration, and data governance.
Design and deploy solutions based on technologies from the Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and Apache Kafka ecosystem.
Work with RHEL environments, including their administration and management through Red Hat Satellite.
Ensure platform security through Kerberos and TLS mechanisms, as well as their integration with the platform's identity systems.
Perform sizing and capacity planning of data clusters, taking into account performance, availability, and growth.
Participate in the definition of Cloud Governance frameworks, including monitoring of resources, consumption, and costs.
Collaborate with technical and business teams, acting as a technical reference and facilitating architectural decision-making.
