Solutions Architect

We are looking for an architecture profile with a solid technical foundation in Java and real experience designing end-to-end solutions, not just documenting them. A person accustomed to moving between different architecture teams and disciplines, who knows how to defend technical criteria, anticipate risks and dependencies, and propose alternatives when the planned path is not viable.

We are especially interested in those who combine modeling and abstraction capabilities (UML, ArchiMate, pattern definition) with practical knowledge of the environments where those decisions land: cloud, hybrid, on-premise, and mainframe architectures, API-based integrations, and event-driven architectures. And, above all, someone with good communication and coordination skills, because a large part of the work consists of aligning people with different priorities around the same design.

• Java as a technical specialist, with an orientation toward hexagonal architectures and mastery of Spring and Spring Boot.
• Modeling in UML and ArchiMate, and architectural pattern design.
• API-based modeling, with an API First approach and REST/RESTful APIs.
• Cloud (AWS, Azure), hybrid, on-premise, and mainframe architectures.
• Event-driven architectures (EDA) applied with Kafka.
• Working in multidisciplinary teams, with the capacity for communication, team coordination, and time management.

Additionally, we will value if you have:

• Experience in designing data and AI solutions.
• Knowledge of ML, MLOps, and GenAI, including RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and agent architecture.
• Knowledge of TOGAF.

Designing the architecture of a solution is deciding how it will age: what will be able to grow, what can be changed, and what will limit us within three years. At Paradigma, we are looking for a Solutions Architect capable of maintaining that complete vision (infrastructure, integrations, data, security, communications) and subsequently bringing it down to technical detail alongside the teams. If you are driven by working in environments where cloud, hybrid systems, and legacy coexist, and you are interested in not only applying patterns but defining them, this is the place for you.

• Develop the architectural design of your assigned projects, integrating all architectural aspects that may affect the solution: infrastructure, communications, third-party integrations, security, data, etc.
• Coordinate with the different architecture teams participating in the design.
• Evaluate technical proposals, identifying risks, dependencies, and impacts, and proposing alternatives.
• Identify and design architectural patterns adapted to the needs of the organization.
• Participate in the evolution of architecture standards.
