IT Project Director

1. Previous technical experience in projects at the level of software architecture, development, infrastructure, and AI.

2. Technical understanding of digital platforms and ecosystems to align solutions with client objectives.

3. High-level communication (C-level).

Relationship with the governance team

• Leading the rest of the governance team (GPS) in the evaluation of the client's macro risks and making strategic decisions (business and product vision) that support the management of said risks across all projects. 

• Effectively communicating and permeating corporate decisions and the strategic roadmap to the governance team and the operational project teams. 

• Acting as an escalation point, supporting the ADLs (operational managers of each project) to unblock problems that require executive-level influence or significant deviations. 

• Facilitating collaboration and orchestrating the members of the GPS (governance team) to ensure a unified and coherent front toward the client. 

• Maintaining transparent, two-way, and assertive communication with the governance team and the development team.

The Project Director is a strategic and governance figure who acts as a strategic ally to the client. Their responsibility is to lead the success of large projects or simultaneous portfolios, transforming business objectives into executable plans and defining metrics for the achievement of goals. Through their consultative, influential, and communication capacity at the executive level (C-level), they ensure that the work of the operational teams is always aligned with the global vision and strategy of the account.

• Proposing solutions as a company by collaborating between technical and business teams.

• Developing, leading, and evolving the client's global strategic plan, ensuring that projects follow the approved course.

• Identifying deviations and taking corrective measures.

• Defining priorities, implementing, and scaling the framework (methodology and governance) at the program/portfolio level.

• Anticipating, consolidating, and actively managing risks at a strategic level from the pre-sales phases, defending and driving large-scale action, mitigation, and contingency plans.

• Guaranteeing transparent, timely, and strategic communication of the program status to all actors, actively leading the high-level stakeholder map (C-Level) to facilitate key decisions.

• Maximizing, measuring, and communicating the return on investment (ROI) and the real value of the aggregate delivery.

• Supervising and providing strategic support to the complete project lifecycle by guiding the operational Agile Delivery Leaders (ADLs), ensuring that on-boarding, knowledge organization, and stable value delivery follow the global strategic guideline.
