The role

What you'll do

  • Design and drafting of electrical cabinets, racks, and equipment integrating electrical and electronic components.

We are looking to hire an Electrical Designer to participate in engineering projects and the development of equipment and systems destined for the defense sector.

The selected person will join a multidisciplinary team in charge of the design and development of electrical cabinets, racks, electronic equipment, and interconnection systems, including the full definition and documentation of the wiring between the different equipment and system elements.

We are looking for a profile with a solid orientation toward electrical design and drafting, capable of working from the definition of the wiring architecture to the generation of the documentation necessary for its manufacture and integration.

Tools

Experience with Siemens Capital will be especially valued for:

  • Creation and modification of electrical schematics.
  • Definition of connections, signals, cables, connectors, and pin-outs.
  • Design and documentation of interconnections and wiring.
  • Generation of manufacturing drawings for cables and harnesses.
  • Management and updating of information associated with the wiring within the system.

Other similar software such as EPLAN, SEE, or those electrical modules of conventional CAD programs (CATIA Electrical, AUTOCAD Electrical, PTC Creo Schematics, Solidworks Electrical, Inventor Cable and Harness, etc.) will also be valued.
