• Vocational Training (Intermediate Level) in Nursing Assistant Care or equivalent qualification officially recognized in Spain.
• A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar position is valued.
• Minimum of 6 months demonstrable experience working with insurance companies.

From the Quirónsalud private hospitals in Madrid, we are looking for a Nursing Assistant for Pulmonology Outpatient Clinics in our Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Pozuelo, located in the Calle Diego de Velázquez, 1, 28223 Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid area.

Assist and perform care for hospitalized patients, maintaining constant alertness to their condition in order to collaborate in the improvement of health and well-being in accordance with departmental processes and policies, working in collaboration with doctors, nursing, and other clinicians for the follow-up and treatment of patients.

• Respect and maintain an appropriate relationship with patients and families, collaborating in the promotion and maintenance of a professional and responsible environment.
• Carry out the required administrative procedures for the management of patient admissions/discharges and the corresponding documentation, thereby facilitating the entire healthcare process.
• Monitor the patient's condition, maintaining a constant state of alertness regarding any changes in their status.
• Collaborate in patient assistance, reception, and transport, always complying with medical and nursing instructions.
• Assess and correctly administer basic patient care.
• Properly mobilize the patient.
• Show accuracy and attention to detail in stock control, warehouse organization, and expense allocation.
• Handle, clean, monitor, and properly maintain specific equipment.
• Correctly manage clinical documentation.
• Provide indirect patient care and support services, keeping the healthcare environment in optimal conditions for patient well-being and the proper development of departmental activity.
• Adequately perform pulmonary function tests.
• Collaborate in tracheostomy changes.
• Collaborate in the placement of pleural drains and their removal.
• Collaborate in the evacuation of pleural effusions and know the devices for this purpose.
• Collaborate in the monitoring of patients on mechanical ventilation.
