From the private Quirónsalud hospitals in Madrid, we are looking for an Orderly for the Operating Room to join our Olympia Medical-Surgical Center, located in Torre Caleido (Begoña metro station), in the north of Madrid.
Provide comprehensive care to the patient, promoting health education, in coordination with the rest of the team, applying the knowledge specific to their category and following the guidelines set by the center based on the care protocols of each area, contributing to providing an excellent quality service.
What you'll do
- Collaborate in patient assistance, reception, and transport, always complying with medical and nursing instructions.
- Monitor the patient's condition, maintaining a constant state of alertness regarding any changes in their status.
- Respect and maintain an appropriate relationship with patients and families, collaborating in the promotion and maintenance of a professional and responsible environment.
- Assist the nursing team in mobilizing patients who require it.
- Ensure patient privacy both during mobilization within the hospitalization unit and during transport to other hospital departments.
- Perform patient transfers when necessary, not leaving them alone until the appropriate person takes charge of the patient.
- Identify the patient before a transfer by cross-checking their personal data with their identification wristband.
- Transfer patients between the corresponding units, Operating Rooms and Recovery, ensuring that all necessary clinical documentation accompanies them.
- Correctly receive the patient, managing their admission to the hospitalization area with the clinical history and notifying nursing staff of their arrival.
- Accompany or appropriately mobilize patients who require preoperative procedures and ensure their collection according to protocol.
Requirements

- Training: A Vocational Training Cycle (Grado Medio) in a healthcare area or equivalent is valued.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience, of which 3 months must have been worked as an operating room porter.
- Effective and empathetic communication, user/service orientation.

Desde los hospitales privados de Quirónsalud en Madrid, estamos en búsqueda de un/a Celador/a de Quirófano para incorporar en nuestro Centro Médico-Quirúrgico Olympia, ubicado en Torre Caleido (metro Begoña), en la zona norte de Madrid.
Proporcionar una atención integral al paciente, promoviendo la educación para la salud, en coordinación con el resto de los miembros del equipo, aplicando los conocimientos propios de su categoría y siguiendo las directrices marcadas por el centro en base a los protocolos asistenciales de cada área, contribuyendo a ofrecer un servicio de excelente calidad.
What you'll do
- Colaborar en la asistencia, recepción y transporte de pacientes cumpliendo siempre con las instrucciones médicas y de enfermería.
- Observar el estado del paciente, manteniendo un estado de alerta permanente ante los cambios de los pacientes.
- Respetar y mantener una relación adecuada con pacientes y familiares, colaborando en la promoción y mantenimiento de un entorno profesional y responsable.
- Ayudar al equipo de enfermería en la movilización de los pacientes que así lo requieran.
- Garantizar la intimidad del paciente tanto en la movilización en la unidad de hospitalización como en el traslado a otras dependencias del hospital.
- Realizar traslados de pacientes cuando sea necesario no dejándoles solos hasta que la persona indicada se haga cargo del paciente.
- Identificar al paciente antes de un traslado cotejando sus datos personales con la pulsera de identificación.
- Trasladar a los pacientes entre las unidades correspondientes, Quirófanos y Reanimación, asegurando que les acompañe toda la documentación clínica precisa.
- Recibir correctamente al paciente, gestionando su ingreso en el área de hospitalización con la historia clínica y avisando a enfermería de su llegada.
- Acompañar o movilizar adecuadamente a los pacientes que precisen la realización de preoperatorio y asegurar la recogida de los mismos según el protocolo.
