ICU-Neonatal Nurse

Provide comprehensive patient care, promoting health education, in coordination with the rest of the team members, applying nursing knowledge and following the guidelines established by the center based on the care protocols of each area, contributing to offering excellent service.

1. Take responsibility for direct patient care, in accordance with the nursing care plan for the patients under their charge, ensuring their safety during the healthcare process.
2. Make the appropriate entries in the patient's medical record.
3. Remain alert to emergencies and critical situations, being able to act correctly under these circumstances.
4. Show perseverance and interest in patient monitoring and control, informing them of how their care will proceed and on any other matter as required, respecting the standards of excellent quality care.
5. Respect and maintain an appropriate relationship with patients and families, collaborating in the promotion and maintenance of a professional and respectful environment. Likewise, providing the information and education that appropriately responds to their needs.
6. Promote an effective interdepartmental working relationship and work effectively as a member of a team to facilitate the achievement of the department's objectives and goals.
7. Stay updated on innovations in the nursing field and pursue professional growth and development. Function as a role model, assisting in the organization and supervision of nursing assistants when appropriate, and mentoring nursing students when appropriate.
