Requirements

What we're looking for

Training: Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Automotive, Electromechanics, Bodywork, or similar.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of accredited previous experience in the automotive sector, with special value placed on experience in heavy vehicles, commercial vehicles or industrial machinery.
Technical knowledge: Mastery of forming techniques, welding and paint preparation/application on large surfaces.
Competencies and availability: Ability to work autonomously ("experienced profiles"), rigor in meeting workshop deadlines and availability to work in rotating shifts.

Hiring: Employment contract according to the Metal Collective Agreement of Lugo.
Remuneration: Salary of €29,000 Gross Annual Salary (GAS) negotiable based on the candidate's merit, experience and technical contribution.

The role

What you'll do

Diagnose, repair and remodel sheet metal and bodywork elements in vans, trucks and buses.
Use benches, sheet metal forming tools and welding equipment for the straightening and adjustment of structures.
Perform the disassembly, replacement and assembly of damaged components, guaranteeing alignment and technical finishes.
Prepare, sand, mask and apply primers to parts and bodywork of commercial and industrial vehicles.

How you'll work

Working Day and Schedule: Rotating shifts to favor work-life balance:
2 weeks on a continuous schedule from 08:00h to 16:00h.
1 week on an afternoon schedule from 12:00h to 20:00h (during this week, Saturdays are worked in the morning from 08:00h to 13:00h, remunerated as overtime).
