Requirements

What we're looking for

Academic Training: Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Installations, Electromechanical Maintenance, or similar.
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of demonstrable experience as a refrigeration technician in the tertiary or industrial sector.
Technical knowledge: Proficiency in compressor replacement, refrigeration circuits (positive/negative), and welding applied to cold; solid knowledge in air conditioning (the ability to fabricate and assemble fiber ducts will be positively valued).
Essential: Valid B driving license.
Availability: Residence in A Coruña and availability for occasional/exceptional travel around the area and Castilla y León.

Nice to have

Highly valued: RITE license, Fluorinated Gases Handler Certificate (any charge), and a 60-hour Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) course (Preventive Resource or Metal Industry Agreement).

What you'll get

Contract: Permanent from day one, with stability in a leading company.
Category: First-class Technician according to the Metal Industry Agreement of A Coruña.
Salary remuneration: Salary band between 27,295
and 29,000
gross/year (set according to technical merit and demonstrated competencies).
Availability bonus: 90 €/month (11 months per year) for on-call/local call-out coverage (very low incidence rate, previously filtered by manager).
Work tools: Equipped company van, Solred card, and geolocation for work travel.

The role

What you'll do

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration (positive and negative temperature) installations and equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and refrigeration faults, including compressor replacement, leak detection and repair, and refrigerant charging.
Perform oxyacetylene/brazing welding on pipes and refrigeration circuits.
Participate in new installations, works, and renovations of air conditioning systems, as well as in the assembly and fabrication of fiber ducts.
Attend to multi-service tasks and technical interventions derived from maintenance needs in corporate headquarters, banking entities, and industrial plants.

How you'll work

Working day: Continuous working day throughout the year: Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00 h. Friday from 08:00 to 15:00 h (7 hours).
