What we're looking for

Education

Mechanical Engineering or similar.

Technical Knowledge and Tools

Design and calculation software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, CYPE (structures), and Inventor (finite elements).
Industry tools: Proficiency in specific programs such as Techdesign, Wictop, Preference, and spreadsheets (Excel).
Regulations: Mastery of the Technical Building Code (CTE), UNE-EN 14351, UNE-EN 13380 standards, and related variants.
Advanced reading and interpretation of plans and technical documentation.

The role

An important construction company needs an Engineer to provide technical support to the Prescription department.

Their main mission will be to provide internal technical support to the prescription team, preparing reports and specific calculations, designing custom solutions, and actively collaborating in the development and prescription of projects under current regulations.

What you'll do

Calculations and Technical Reports: Preparation of budgets, analysis of inertias, thermal and acoustic calculations, AEV (Air, Water, Wind), structural calculations, and finite element analysis.
Design and Layout: Development of standard and project-specific sections, drafting of special solutions, deliverables, and 2D/3D systems, as well as 3D printing of profiles.
Advisory and Management: Provide technical advice in accordance with current regulations, ensuring compliance with the specifications of each project.
Support and Field Work: Technical telephone assistance, carrying out site visits (individually or with the prescription team).
