The role

Do you have experience in lamination as a longitudinal cutting machine operator? At randstad, we are waiting for you!

What you'll do

Machine preparation and setup: Manually or automatically install, adjust, and position circular blades and separators according to order measurements. Program the cutting line parameters (speed, belt tension, pressure).

Material feeding and handling: Load and unroll coils (steel, aluminum, etc.) using lifting equipment such as overhead cranes or forklifts. Guide and thread the material through the rollers and cutting heads.

Control and supervision during the process: Monitor machine behavior and material flow to prevent jams or deviations. Optimize coil utilization to minimize offcuts and waste.

Quality control: Verify the dimensions (widths and tolerances) of the final product using measuring instruments. Inspect for possible defects in the cut or on the material surface.

Maintenance and safety: Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance of the machine. Comply with occupational safety regulations.

How you'll work

Schedule: 3 shifts (6:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00, and 22:00 to 06:00)

Requirements

Proven previous experience.

Experience in the longitudinal cutting line for steel coils

Training in the industrial field is valued.

Forklift and overhead crane licenses in force, experience.

Reside in the area.

Availability to work shifts.
