Otolaryngologist

Are you an ENT specialist in Sleep? We are looking for you (8h/week).

-Airway evaluation: Physically examine the patient's nose and throat to detect obstructions causing snoring or apneas.

-Support in endoscopy (DISE): Participate in laryngoscopy under induced sedation to see exactly where the airway collapses during sleep.

-Reading sleep tests: Interpret respiratory polygraphies and polysomnographies together with the attending specialist.

-Surgical selection: Identify which patients with apnea are suitable candidates for reconstructive surgery or tissue reduction.

-CPAP and MAD follow-up: Monitor the patient's adaptation to air pressure masks or mandibular advancement splints in the consultation.

• Degree in Medicine and General Surgery.
• MIR in Otolaryngology.
• Experience in sleep-related pathologies.

-Evaluación de vía aérea: Explorar físicamente la nariz y garganta del paciente para detectar obstrucciones causantes de ronquidos o apneas.

-Apoyo en endoscopia (DISE): Participar en la laringoscopia bajo sedación inducida para ver exactamente dónde se colapsa la vía aérea al dormir.

-Lectura de pruebas de sueño: Interpretar poligrafías respiratorias y polisomnografías junto al especialista adjunto.

-Selección quirúrgica: Identificar qué pacientes con apnea son candidatos idóneos para cirugía reconstructiva o reducción de tejidos.

-Seguimiento de CPAP y DAM: Controlar la adaptación del paciente a las máscaras de presión de aire o a las férulas de avance mandibular en la consulta.

• Grado en Medicina y cirugía general.
• MIR en Otorrinolaringología.
• Experiencia en patologías relacionadas con el sueño.
