Requirements

What we're looking for

Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training in Bodywork / Automotive or accredited equivalent experience.

Minimum previous experience in surface preparation and water-based paint application in a booth.

Residence in Avilés or surrounding areas with availability to commute.

Nice to have

Desirable:

Knowledge of blending techniques and micro-repairs (Spot Repair).

Previous experience with leading paint brands in the automotive sector.

Permanent contract from the start (with the corresponding probationary period).

Continuous intensive workday: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30 (with a 30-minute lunch break), guaranteeing your weekends free.

Competitive remuneration: salary set according to the Automobile Sales and/or Repair Collective Agreement of the Principality of Asturias, with upward valuation based on your proven experience.

The role

Are you looking for stability and a professional leap as an automotive painting specialist in Avilés?

What you'll do

Comprehensive surface preparation: sanding, masking, degreasing, and application of primers and fillers.

Paint adjustment and mixing: color formulation and shade calibration using a spectrophotometer and technical data sheets.

Application of finishes: painting of complete bodies and individual parts in the booth, including both single-stage and two-stage systems, as well as clear coats.

Final bodywork treatment: oven drying, dust removal, polishing, and buffing of parts.

Maintenance and care of tools: cleaning and calibration of spray guns, mixing equipment, and booth filters.
