About the role

At Randstad, we work with our client Fini to provide support in the selection of all types of professional profiles.

We are looking for our next Innovation Technician.

What you'll do

Your main objective will be the implementation of the strategy defined by the Innovation Coordinator through the execution of projects and programs

aimed at developing new products, ensuring collaboration with the areas involved.

Your main duties will be:

  • Lead strategic projects assigned to the Innovation area within the R&D Department.
  • Develop new products and improve existing ones, including:

o Designing and supervising tests in the laboratory and pilot plant.

o Evaluating results and scaling up to industrial trials.

o Documenting all project stages and associated costs.

  • o Transferring information to Master Data for the creation or modification of references in BC.
  • o Conducting shelf-life studies when necessary.
  • o Drafting projects for official grants (e.g., CDTI) and tax deductions, in coordination with the department manager and external consultancy.
  • o Communicating changes in recipes (formulas) to the affected areas: Regulatory, Master Data, Purchasing, Management Control, etc.
  • o Supervising initial production runs and providing support in resolving issues on the plant floor.
  • o Participating in the start-up of new facilities and production lines in collaboration with Production and Engineering.
  • o Collaborating in the selection and start-up of new technology together with the Engineering department.
  • o Facilitating knowledge transfer among the different units of The Fini Company to implement innovation projects where required by the organization.

Requirements

Technical and Experience Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, or Chemistry. A Master's degree in innovation is valued.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar position is valued; experience in the food sector is highly valued.
  • Experience in innovation project development.
  • Experience in managing grants and tax deductions for R&D projects is valued.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is valued, preferably Business Central.
  • Availability to travel.
