What will your role be?

As part of the Energy Parks area, you will be responsible for organizing and controlling the maintenance of distributed control systems, carrying it out where applicable, providing technical support to the Plants, maximizing system availability, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards, as well as the Company's general policies.

  • Carry out maintenance tasks for the basic control of Distributed Control Systems (DCS, ESD, F&G, SCADA, OMS…) including implementation/maintenance of tags, graphics, TFGs, operating groups, alarms, trends, simple and cascade loops, loop tuning, simple control applications, ramps, split ranges, sequences, interlocks and logic, and native applications (cl)…

  • Provide support to the Control Systems maintenance manager in corrective/preventive tasks defined within the scope of the Department's system maintenance (DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, SCADA, OMS…)

  • Provide support to the maintenance manager in managing the Department's system spare parts (DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, SCADA, OMS…).

  • Provide support to the Plants in diagnosing ESD and F&G logic, both for incidents, engineering, and commissioning of new units or revamping.

  • Provide support to the Plants in diagnosing OMS tasks, both for incidents, engineering, and commissioning of new lines, valves, pumps, and final storage elements.

  • Provide support to the Plants in Alarm Rationalization in control systems, as well as maintenance to ensure the proper operation of alarm management applications.

  • Collaborate with your supervisor in maintaining standards, procedures, processes, and working methods, within the scope of functional maintenance (basic control) and projects.

  • Diagnose problems and incidents in plant instrumentation or control panels, using the computer resources available in the control systems and in coordination with the Instrumentation Dept.

  • Collaborate with Systems Technicians in all phases and tasks of the projects assigned to you, under the coordination of your supervisor.

  • Collaborate with the Optimization Technicians (CA) to ensure the proper operation of servers and advanced applications and Blendings.

  • Supervise and provide assistance in IT tasks within the Control Systems, by diagnosing them and managing incidents with the DSI.

  • Administer and manage industrial communications between the different automation systems: OPC, modbus, Ethernet.

  • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity department to keep the different assets of the control systems monitored, as well as managing backups and ensuring compliance with the established IT security measures on the control network.

  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks aimed at reviewing the condition of the designated control rooms.

  • Perform on-call duties scheduled for the department and provide service in case of operational need.

  • Carry out other tasks complementary to your main function, not listed here, that need to be performed for greater efficiency and full activity.

Who are we looking for?

  • Higher Level Vocational Training Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Honeywell control systems (FSC, SM, C-300…) is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial facilities, instrumentation, or Control Systems will be valued.
