Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree or Higher Vocational Training degree.
You have knowledge or previous experience in supply chain, Supply Chain, or integral logistics.
Advanced level of Excel, especially pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data processing.
Fluent level of written English to manage emails, reports, and technical documentation.

Nice to have

We value experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially in logistics and materials modules, as well as knowledge of data analysis and databases.
We value knowledge of continuous improvement, such as Lean Manufacturing, Lean Logistics, or Kaizen, and project management tools such as Trello or Asana.

The role

At Marlex, we are collaborating with an industrial company specializing in the manufacture of PVC profiles for windows and doors, which is looking to hire a Supply Technician for its Planning and Operations department.

What you'll do

Your mission will be to contribute to the efficiency of the supply chain through data analysis, indicator monitoring, and the coordination of logistical flows. You will provide support to the area manager in operational planning, demand analysis, and the management of the group's internal customers, contributing to decision-making and the continuous improvement of processes.

Your main responsibilities will be

Data and indicator analysis: preparation and monitoring of daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, preparation of reports, and trend analysis to facilitate decision-making.
Demand planning and management: analysis of extraordinary demands, monitoring of needs, and support in the planning of logistical flows.
Internal coordination: collaboration with the ordering, planning, purchasing, and warehouse departments to ensure proper supply chain management.
Internal customer management: attention and follow-up with group customers, including international subsidiaries.
Process improvement: support in the creation of indicators, updating of files, and data analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
Operational support: collaboration with the area manager in resolving incidents and meeting the needs of the department.
