Fire Protection Engineer / Fire & Gas Engineer

At RDT we are looking for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our team, with solid experience in fire protection engineering and Fire & Gas systems.

• Design and specification of fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, foam, detection, suppression).

• Development of F&G systems: gas detection, fire detection, cause-and-effect logic, and safety philosophy.

• Review of basic and detailed engineering.

• Design and review of F&G systems, including cause-and-effect matrices and safety philosophy.

• Technical reviews (HAZOP/HAZID).

• Preparation of technical documentation, specifications, and procurement packages.

• 100% remote work as a standard modality, with flexibility for occasional travel.

• Participation in multidisciplinary projects of high technical level.

• 100% remote work as a general rule, with occasional availability to travel to the office (Madrid) or on occasional trips as required by the project.

• 10 years of experience in the design, specification, and review of F&G systems.

• Professional and fluent English, able to communicate effectively in technical meetings with clients.

• Previous experience and knowledge of local regulations (RSCIEI, RIPCI, UNE, NFPA) and national suppliers.

En RDT buscamos un Senior Fire Protection Engineer para incorporarse a nuestro equipo, con sólida experiencia en ingeniería de protección contra incendios y sistemas Fire & Gas para incorporarse a nuestro equipo.

• Diseño y especificación de sistemas PCI (rociadores, hidrantes, espuma, detección, extinción).

• Desarrollo de sistemas F&G: detección de gas, fuego, lógica de disparo y matrices causa‑efecto.

• Revisión de ingeniería básica y de detalle.

• Diseñar y revisar sistemas F&G, incluyendo matrices causa‑efecto y filosofía de seguridad.

• Revisiones técnicas (HAZOP/HAZID).

• Preparar documentación técnica, especificaciones y paquetes de compra.

• Teletrabajo 100 % como modalidad habitual, con flexibilidad para desplazamientos puntuales

• Participación en proyectos multidisciplinares de alto nivel técnico.

• Teletrabajo 100% como regla general, con disponibilidad ocasional para acudir a la oficina (Madrid) o realizar viajes puntuales cuando el proyecto lo requiera.

• 10 años de experiencia en diseño, especificación y revisión de sistemas PCI y F&G.

• Inglés profesional y solvente, capaz de desenvolverse con fluidez en reuniones técnicas con clientes.

• Experiencia previa y conocimiento de normativa local (RSCIEI, RIPCI, UNE, NFPA) y proveedores nacionales.
