• Solid technical experience in civil and structural engineering design for energy projects.

• Extensive experience in the use of structural analysis and design software, especially STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and CYPE, applied to the calculation and design of industrial and building structures.

• Proficiency in advanced structural calculation and analysis tools, using specialized solutions for the evaluation and optimization of structures based on project requirements.

• Solid knowledge in structural modeling, analysis, and design in accordance with applicable international regulations and standards.

• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel for the development of engineering calculations, creation of design tools, data analysis, and project monitoring and control.

• Ability to use IT tools to support engineering in order to improve calculation efficiency, traceability of results, and technical project management.

• Experience in the application of specialized software for design validation, structural behavior analysis, and the resolution of complex technical problems.

• High analytical and problem-solving capacity.

• Leadership skills and the ability to guide, develop, and train other engineers.

• Strong decision-making capacity and a high sense of responsibility regarding technical matters.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills in multidisciplinary environments.

• Ability to manage priorities and meet demanding deadlines.

• High commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with regulations and standards.

• Advanced level of English.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar. A Master's in Structural Calculation is highly valued.

At RDT, we want to expand our team in Madrid; we need to hire a Civil Specialist Engineer to participate in energy sector projects.

• Lead and supervise the development of structural calculations, technical studies, specifications, and other engineering deliverables, guaranteeing their technical quality and compliance with project objectives.

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards, as well as specific client requirements, including Eurocodes and particular regulations for each project.

• Review, validate, and approve technical documentation prepared by junior and intermediate engineers, guaranteeing the consistency and quality of the deliverables.

• Provide technical support, training, and mentoring to less experienced team members, promoting their professional and technical development.

• Coordinate engineering activities with other disciplines involved in the project (mechanical, electrical, piping, architecture, among others), ensuring integrated and coherent solutions.

• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions, acting as a technical reference and representative of the discipline when necessary.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage technical risks, actively contributing to problem-solving and decision-making during project execution.

• Collaborate in the technical planning of projects, including effort estimations, resource definition, and workload distribution within the team.

• Drive the continuous improvement of engineering standards, methodologies, processes, and departmental work tools, fostering efficiency and technical excellence.

• Guarantee that structural designs and solutions comply with the safety, quality, deadline, and cost requirements established for each project.
