Civil 3D Specialist

• Education and Experience:
  • Education in Civil Engineering, Public Works Engineering, Drafting, Civil Works or related technical specialties.
  • Minimum professional experience of 2 to 3 years in positions related to civil works design and modeling using Civil 3D.
  • Demonstrable experience in the development of surface models, alignments, and profiles.
  • Experience in road design, platforms, and earthworks.
  • Experience in preparing plans and technical documentation for civil engineering projects.
  • Ability to work autonomously in the development of models and technical documentation.
• Skills and Technical Knowledge:
  • Advanced mastery of Autodesk Civil 3D, an essential requirement for the position.
  • Mastery of AutoCAD for the preparation, modification, and review of technical plans.
  • Real experience in the creation and management of surfaces and digital terrain models.
  • Advanced knowledge of alignments and geometric road design.
  • Experience in generating longitudinal and cross-sections.
  • Mastery of earthworks calculation and modeling tools.
  • Experience in quantity take-offs and volume calculations for excavation and fill.
  • Knowledge of drainage design and representation.

Job Offer: Civil 3D Specialist - Renewable Energies

At Grupo INVOIN, we are looking to hire a Civil 3D Specialist to participate in an engineering project within the renewable energies sector, developing activities related to civil works modeling and design using Autodesk Civil 3D.

We are looking for a professional with experience in surface modeling, road design, platforms, profiles, and earthworks, with advanced mastery of Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Immediate availability for incorporation is required for a project with an estimated initial duration of one month, with a preferred location in Logroño and the possibility of considering profiles in Madrid.

• Develop civil works models and designs using Autodesk Civil 3D, following the technical specifications of the project.
• Create, modify, and manage topographic surfaces, preparing digital terrain models.
• Design roads and access ways, developing alignments and geometries adapted to the project needs.
• Design and model platforms for facilities and infrastructure associated with renewable energy projects.
• Generate longitudinal and cross-sections, using specific Civil 3D tools.
• Perform earthworks calculations and modeling, analyzing excavation and fill requirements.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and volume calculations associated with earthworks and civil works activities.
• Design and represent drainage systems, incorporating them into the project models and plans.
• Prepare plans and technical documentation derived from the models developed in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Provide support in the siting of renewable energy projects, collaborating in the definition of civil works solutions.
• Participate in the development of basic and detailed engineering, preparing models, plans, and graphic documentation.
• Coordinate with civil engineers and professionals from other disciplines, ensuring the integration of technical information.
• Review and update models and technical documentation, incorporating modifications derived from the project development.
