What you'll do

The Field Service Engineer provides scientific/technical service for systems and solutions installed at customer sites, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness in each assigned activity: installations, preventive, corrective, and evolutionary maintenance, and modifications. Ensures that the service provided generates a competitive advantage, becoming the differentiating element of Roche's value proposition, and achieving optimal levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Operational excellence: Flawlessly execute preventive, corrective, and evolutionary maintenance procedures, installations, and modifications of assigned systems, ensuring that the customer experience across all these interventions is excellent.
  • Monitoring: Incorporate and promote the use of digital tools in monitoring assigned customers to evolve towards a more efficient, proactive service model focused on maximizing the customer experience.
  • Reporting and quality: Record all activities (remote or on-site) in the CRM, ensuring proper documentation and updating of the technical characteristics of the installation according to the organization's standards.
  • Planning: Ensure timely and proper follow-up and execution of modifications and maintenance using the Service Dashboard for assigned accounts.
  • Regional coverage: Availability to provide support for accounts in the Northern Area (Basque Country, Cantabria, Navarra, La Rioja, and Aragon) as service needs require.
  • Technical reference: Act as a reference in managing key assigned customer accounts, as well as collaborating nationally (cross country) in supporting and implementing strategic accounts when necessary.
  • Dedicated management (100% focused on satisfaction and KPIs): Provide comprehensive and proactive service, implementing decisions that optimize service delivery and positively impact the customer experience.
  • Customer care: Establish and maintain excellent and proactive communication, informing about updates to reagents, systems, and quality controls.
  • Incident management: Efficiently resolve complaints and claims, processing requested modifications and providing continuous follow-up until full resolution.
  • Commercial synergy: Work closely with the Commercial Area to address customer needs and support the sales of solutions and service offerings.

What we're looking for

Requirements: Education and Experience

  • Education: Degree in Engineering (Electronic, Mechanical, Biomedical, Technical Engineering, or related disciplines).
  • Required experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar position within the diagnostics / in-vitro sector.
  • Technical knowledge: Training or previous experience working with in vitro diagnostics (IVD) platforms and systems, demonstrating solid proficiency at the hardware level. Experience in applications and IT environments is valued.
  • Customer management: Previous experience in managing complex customer accounts will be positively valued.
  • Languages: Fluent Spanish and a good level of English.
  • Location / Residence: Preference for (Pamplona/Navarra).
  • Driving license - Category B

How you'll work

  • Availability for on-call shifts (including weekends) for several weeks per year, according to the established calendar to ensure service continuity.
  • Working hours availability:
  • Flexible schedule: Adaptable shifts within the operational window from 08:00 to 22:00.
  • Adaptability: Shifts will be adjusted according to service needs to ensure the periodic execution of corrective and preventive maintenance and annual modifications at key customer sites.
